Cecil John Sherwood, 42, representative of an insurance company and residing at 342 South Myrtle, died at his home Sunday, morning, after an illness of 10 days od pneumonia.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10:00 at St. Patrick Church followed by burial in the family lot of St. Patrick's Cemetery near Momence.

The body is to be removed this morning from Hickey Funeral Home to the residence to lie for the visits of friends until the service.

He is survived by the widow Kathlyn, the children, Constance, John, Edward, Donald, Dorothy, and Cecil with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rush Sherwood, of Momence.

He was born in Momence on March 4, 1892, and resided there for a number of years but had been in Kankakee for the past nine years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of S. Patrick Church and of Modern Woodman lodge.
