June Moore Shurtleff, 81, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Father Jay Atwood of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church of Willow Park officiating. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Fort Worth. June was born to Ernest and Ruth Moore in Dallas on June 15, 1931. She graduated from Graford High School. June helped start the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Burleson. She worked for Shurtleff Builders with her husband, Joe Shurtleff. June was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Shurtleff, and her sister, Betty Brice. Thank-you to the American Hospice nurses for their loving care and support. Survivors: Husband, Joe Shurtleff; sister-in-law, Frances Coles; brother-in-law, Charles Brice; nephew-in-law, Joey Coles; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
