Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Trinity Church with burial following in Terry County Memorial Cemetery, Brownfield.

Our beloved Blake went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, but will live on in our hearts forever. Blake was born on June 2, 1995, to Matt and Monica (Sales) Adams in Lubbock. He attended Trinity Christian School from grade school and enjoyed playing tennis. In 2011, Blake was the recipient of a gold medal for the National Latin Exam. He was also active in the National Honor Society. Blake's hobbies and interests included anything that involved technology. He loved to travel, and enjoyed planning and organizing all the family vacations. Blake cherished his family dearly and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Blake was very meticulous and organized. His hair and clothes were always perfect. Blake was a problem solver; he would always be willing to help anyone with any problem, no matter what. Blake always put everyone else's needs in front of his own. He would drop anything he was doing to help someone. Blake loved having family dinners. He always wanted everyone in the family to get along. Blake was very intellectual. He was able to put his emotions into words in a very unique way. Blake loved going to the beach and warm weather. He loved his golden retriever Max and always let him sleep next to him. All the girls said they had crushes on Blake. He was the most independent person.

Blake was preceded in death by a cousin, Taylor Sales.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Matt and Monica Adams; a sister, Tori Ericson and husband Jarred of Lubbock; two brothers, Tyler Adams and Logan Adams of Lubbock; a niece, Kennedi Ericson; two nephews, Brock and Zack Ericson; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Sharon Sales of Lubbock; paternal grandparents, Tom and Marilyn Adams of Brownfield; maternal great-grandmother, Eunice Sales of Slaton; five aunts and uncles, Angela Wilson-Adams and husband Stan of Santa Fe, N.M., Mark Adams and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Todd Sales and wife Vicki of Midland, and Shawn Sales and wife Debbie of Sundown; and eight cousins, Abbie Adams, Luke Adams, Marisa Sales, Kadyn Wilson, Courtney Sales, Conner Sales, Trevor Sales and Tanner Sales.
