BEL AIRE Fisher, Stephen Wayne, 53, passed away March 4, 2013, at Via Christi St. Joseph, Wichita, Kansas. He was born April 30, 1959,at the Webb Air Force Base,in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Monte and Carolyn (Cave) Fisher. On July 5 1959, he was Baptized at the Federated Church in Whitewater Kansas. As a young teen he went forward in a service to be saved at the Meridian Baptist Church in Newton, Kansas. He grew up in Park City, Valley Center, Kansas. Then lived a few years in Richardson and Plano Texas. The family returned to Whitewater Kansas where he finished school. He was a graduate of Remington High School and Wichita State University. He was a computer scientist at Boeing for nearly 29 years. He lived several years in California working on projects for Boeing, before being sent back to Wichita. On June 19, 1999, he was united in marriage to Magda Colon. He is lovingly survived by his wife, children, his parents, sisters, and 6 grandchildren. Visitation with family 6 8 p.m. Monday, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Federated Church, Whitewater. Interment in the Whitewater Cemetery. Memorial Funds established for the ASPCA or Federated Church in care of Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater.
