He was a graduate of State College Area High School and Keystone Technical Institute with a degree in Culinary Arts. He worked in Architecture for over thirty years and most recently was a chef. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland; US Personal Chef Assn.; American Culinary Federation; and West Shore Chamber of Commerce. He was a die-hard Penn State Football fan and liked the Steelers and NASCAR.
He was born April 22, 1951 in Bellefonte. He was preceded in death by his father Paul E. Hook and Brother Patrick.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine C. Hook; mother, Dolores M. Hook of Boalsburg; a sister, Dolores Gheen (Dick) of Morrisdale; three brothers, Michael (Cheryl) of Chambersburg, David (Debbie) of Bensalem, and Dan (Janet) of Philipsburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8pm Thursday with a Scripture Service at 7:45pm at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
