Shirley Lou Swartzlander, age 76, of Canal Winchester, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013. Born March 30, 1936 in Brice, OH. She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Swartzlander. Survivors include her children, Debbie Cunningham, Lynn (Rhonda) Swartzlander, Larry (Missy) Swartzlander, Diana (Carl) Lape, Lee Swartzlander and Donna (Doug) Leitwein; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may visit on Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Rd, Canal Winchester. A funeral service will be held at the David Evangelical Lutheran Church, 300 Groveport Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 on Friday, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Franklin Hill Memory Gardens.
