Marie Hattie Lucas died at Dunaway Manor in Guymon early Wednesday morning. She had been a resident of the manor for the past year and a half.
She was born March 26, 1909 at Pueblo, Colo. and was married to Haskell Lucas at Clayton, N.M. On Feb. 22, 1930. He preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1967. Mrs. Lucas was a member and a past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star in Texhoma.
She is survived by one sister, Myrtle Hitzing of Boone, Colo.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 from the First Christian Church in Texhoma with Rev. Edward Sneed officiating. Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of Dawson-Welch Funeral Home.
