Patricia A. Hadaway,77 passed away at 6:10 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2013 at her residence in Bloomington, Il. Her visitation will be 11:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Pastor Brian W. Goke will officiate.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington IL. The family suggests memorials be made to CISAR Small Animal Rescue of Colfax or St. John's Lutheran Church Bloomington Senior High Ministry.

Patricia was born March 9, 1935 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of William and Dorothy Ledbetter Smith. After the passing of her father she was then raised by Carroll Gilmore and her mother Dorothy. She married the love of her life Ronald Hadaway on June 29, 1957 in Cooksville, IL. He passed away January 25, 1967.

Surviving, three Children, Kim (Rodney) Ummel, Cooksville, IL, Tammy ( Mark Northcutt) Hadaway, Bloomington, IL Marty (Beth) Hadaway, Rural Retreat, Virginia; ten, Grandchildren, Ronald Ummel, Maggie (Matt) Edwards, Betsy (Tony) McMichael, Todd Northcutt, Carly Northcutt, Jon Northcutt, Jeffery (Megan) Hall, Erin (Ernie) Simons, Hannah Hadaway, and Sam Hadaway; seven Great Grandchildren; one Half- Sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, step father, and half sister.

Patricia graduated from Bellflower High School, Bellflower, IL. While raising her family she worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses and later retired from Champion Federal, Bloomington. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as all grandmothers do.

Patricia rarely missed her weekly appointment with her same hairdresser for the past 30 years. She always looked forward to dinners with her former classmates from high school. She was a lover of animals including her favorite cat Simon.
