Joyce Marie Garrett, 71, of Williamsville, MO, passed away at her home on March 6, 2013. She was born on August 13, 1941, to Victor Reece and Janette White Reece in Powe, MO. On August 10, 1962, she married Lonnie Eugene Garrett and to this union four children were born. Joyce worked as a medical technician at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Joyce is survived by three sons, Tony Garrett of St. Louis, MO, Tim Garrett of Williamsville, MO, Todd Garrett of Pueblo, CO; one daughter, Karen Gehl and her husband, Steve, of Cape Girardeau, MO; six grandchildren, Adrian Girard, Amber Walker and her husband, Randy, Ben Garrett, Zach Garrett, Alexis Garrett, Paige Garrett; one great grandchild, Eli Girard; six brothers, Paul Reece and his wife, Dorothy, of Lady Smith, WS, James Reece and his wife, Helen, of Doniphan, MO, Junior Reece and his wife, Doris, of Bernie, MO, Roger Reece and his wife, Jean, of Malden, MO, Bobby Reece and his wife, Debbie, of Bernie, MO, Ronnie Reece of Malden, MO; and two sisters, Carol Reece of Bernie, MO, and Linda Blevins of Williamsville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one granddaughter, Melinda Kay Garrett; and one sister, Betty Meadows. A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Williamsville on Friday, March 8, 2013, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, March 9,2013, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holliday Cemetery in Williamsville.
