OF ZOO SECRETARY, PASSES
Mrs. Ida B. Jennings, 87, a San Diego resident 61 years, died yesterday afternoon in her home at 412 Palmetto Way. She was the mother of Mrs. Belle J Benchley, executive secretary of the Zoological Society of San Diego.
Ms. Jennings was born in Illinois. She was the widow of Fred M. Jennings.
She also is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Luella Miller, of San Diego; Mrs. Sue Miller of San Jose, and Mrs. Helen I Bailey of El Centro; three sons, Frank N. and E.R. Jennings of San Diego and W.H. Jennings of La Mesa; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie O Blaine and Mrs. Mae E Addis of North Carolina, and Mrs. Elizabeth O Gray of Richmond, Ore., and eight grandchildren.
