Born in Matamoras, on February 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Maude Shepley Seruscak.
Rosalie retired from Kinney Shoe Factory, Palmyra, where she worked in the Stitching Department. She also worked for the former Carlisle Shoe Factory, Harrisburg. Rosalie loved crocheting and was an avid Phillies fan.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert C. King on October 27, 1986; a stepson, Robert E. King; and a granddaughter, Tina Hite.
Rosalie is survived by three sons, Harold E. Richmond husband of Shirley I. of Rutherford, Dale C. Richmond husband of Judy of Harrisburg, and Robert E. Richmond companion of Shirley Hobart of Hummelstown; three daughters, Darlene A. Lantz wife of Joseph of Lebanon, Deborah E. Funt wife of Glenn C. of Elizabethtown, and Tonya L. Hostetter wife of David also of Lebanon; a sister, Florence of Melbourne, FL; three step-sons, Claude D. King of Middletown, Curtis C. King of Palmyra, and Walter E. King of Lawnton; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013, at 1 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewings will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Monday from 12 Noon until time of the service, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
