LYONS - Anna Margaret Wolf Colle, 77, died March 3, 2013, at her home in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Wichita, the daughter of Frank and Leota (Spence) McCurry.
A resident of Tulsa, Okla. for the last two years, formerly of Hutchinson and Lyons, she was a graduate of Wichita East High School, received her Bachelors degree in Education from Friends University and received her LPN degree from McPherson College. She was a schoolteacher and she attended the Church of Christ and First Presbyterian Church, both of Lyons.
She married Dr. Curtis V. Wolf July 18, 1958, in Wichita. He died Oct. 13, 1986. She married Gene Colle July 27, 1999, in Wichita. Survivors include: her husband, Gene Colle of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Brute and Jennifer Wolf of Tulsa, Okla. and Milton and Karrie Wolf II of Leawood; two daughters, Jenifer and Peter Williams of Dallas, Texas, and Sara and Craig Darrah of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; two brothers, Tom and Faye McCurry of Irving, Texas and Howard and Pat McCurry of Wichita; two sisters, Ruth McCurry of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mary and Robert Mardock of Ridgeway, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Martha Ketchum.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Church of Christ, Lyons, with Robert Taverner officiating. Burial will be in the Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Visitation 2 to 7 p.m. with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
