Reba W. Ray, 103, of Regency Place of South Bend, formerly of Portage Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:02 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in Regency Place. Mrs. Ray was born Nov. 30, 1898, in Niles, Mich., to Benjamin F. and Angeline E. (Ribble) Willard, and had lived in South Bend since 1908, coming from Niles.
On May 22, 1922, in South Bend, she married Charles J. Ray, who died May 8, 1945. She is survived by a son, Charles W. Ray of South Bend; two granddaughters, Kathryn (Joseph) LaMarche of Valparaiso, Ind., and Susan (Dale) Ritchie of Marcellus, Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Noelle and Erin Maure of South Bend, and Heather (Josh) Mansfield of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; and by two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ray was employed by the former Whitcomb & Keller Real Estate Company as a bookkeeper for 38 years. She was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
