A memorial service for the late Robert Charles "Bobby" Stewart, 64, Ohio, Antigonish County, was held January 7 in St. Joseph Church, St. Josephs, with Father Syd Mifflen officiating.
Mr. Stewart died January 2, 2010, at home.
Born February 25,1945, he was the adopted son of the late John and Margaret(MacPherson) Stewart. He lived in the Ohio most of his life save for the years he resided with Tina and Joe Turney in Boston. After returning to Nova Scotia he worked at Tramble's Esso and Stewart's Auto Body retiring due to poor health.
He is survived by his birth mother, Elizabeth MacDonald, Ontario; aunt, Alvina Masse, Ohio; stepdaughter, Tracy Moody; step-granddaughter, Jessica; cousin, Theresa Masse and her daughter Stephanie, all of London, Ontario; numerous first cousins in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Boston.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (MacPherson); four uncles Al, Duncan, Dan, Hughie.
