HIGGINSVILLE - Ethel Clara Fiene, 87, Higginsville, died June 28, 1992, in a nursing home here. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoefer Chapel, Higginsville; burial in the Higginsville City Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired, Kansas City. Mrs. Fiene was born in Rocky Ford, Colo., and lived in Higginsville most of her life.
She was an attendant at the Higginsville Habilitation Center for 20 years, retiring in 1966. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Higginsville. Survivors include four sons, Jesse Fiene, Odessa, Mo., and Roy Harold Fiene, Raymond Fiene and Ronald Fiene of Higginsville; four daughters, Dean Sinnett, Higginsville, Dorothy Anderson, Odessa, Shirley Fiene, Atlanta, and Angie Conder, Independence; three sisters, Grace Deatherage, Corder, Mo., Bessie Deatherage, Bates City, Mo., and Mae Evans, Alma, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
