Thomas W. Carter, who resided on the front, west of the cemetery, died this morning at half past one, age 69 years. Mr. Carter was born in London, Eng. and was a prominent architect and builder in New Orleans for 15 years. He has been a resident of this country for nearly a quarter of a century and of Biloxi nine years. Deceased leaves a wife and eight children, one brother and two sisters. The last building he erected was for Leon Godchaux, corner of Canal and Chartes streets, New Orleans. The funeral takes place Sunday, from his late residence, at 2 p.m.
