Loretta J. Bowman, 74, of East Stroudsburg, died Monday, Aug. 6, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Alfred L. Bowman.
Born on June 11, 1927, in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Matilda (Rehm) Strunk. She was a resident of East Stroudsburg her entire life.
She was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Stroudsburg.
Surviving are one son, LeRoy A. Bowman of East Stroudsburg; one daughter, Barbara Fish of Stroudsburg; two brothers, Michael Strunk, and Carlyle Strunk; and many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Carmen Perry will officiate.
Burial will take place in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Lanterman and Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 808 Sarah St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
