Mary E. Stahl, 78, wife of Burdell Stahl of 1350 Warren Rd., Huntington, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington.
She was employed at Schact/Lydall Rubber Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1982. She was a 1937 graduate of Bippus High School and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Huntington.
Mrs. Stahl was born in Frankfort Nov. 21, 1920 to Arthur and Lydia Rosen Metzger. Her marriage to Burdell Stahl took place in Huntington on Oct. 4, 1940.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dennis of Huntington, and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Naomi) Jackson of Huntington. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Services will be a 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Home in Huntington with Rev. John Heasler officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County.
Calling hours at the funeral chapel will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. No memorials are requested.
