BONHAM- Funeral services for Jo Neta Lewis, age 71 of Whitewright, will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Randolph. Bro. David Brackett will be officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Lindsey Cemetery. Mrs. Lewis passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.
Jo Neta (Pratt) Lewis was born in Randolph, TX on July 6, 1941 to Paul and Lila (Rigsby) Pratt. She married John Lewis on November 9, 1990 in Lewisville, TX. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker, and served as a member of the First Baptist Church in Randolph.
Jo Neta enjoyed playing piano, and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by husband, John Lewis of Whitewright, daughters Laura Johnson and husband Bobby of Frisco, Karen Alvarado of Carrollton, grandsons, Justin Alvarado, Dustin Alvarado, Henry T. Wiederhold, sister, Virginia Todd and husband Bobby of Trenton, brothers, Charles Pratt and wife Connie of Bonham, Gaylon D. Pratt and wife Debbie of Joaquin, and Larry Pratt and wife Amy of Bonham; and three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Alvarado, Dustin Alvarado, Henry T. Wiederhold, Ron Reeves, Bobby Todd, and Bobby Johnson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 6-8 pm at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
