Miss Alice Knight, of Colfax, Expires
Miss Alice Knight died at the home of her mother in Colfax yesterday morning at 3:30 o’clock. Miss Knight had been ill since last September and had been confined to her bed since March 10. The cause of her death was a complication of diseases.
Deceased was the daughter of Moses and Elizabeth Knight. She was born July 13, 1857 in White Oak Township. In 1865 she moved with her parents to a place three miles east of Colfax, where they resided until 1893. They moved to town at this time. Her father died a number of years ago and she has lived with her mother. Miss Knight has been a member of the Christian Church since she was 14 years of age and has always been a prominent and active church worker. She has been teaching a class in the Sunday school and she has not missed a Sunday in the last seven years until the time of her last illness. She is survived by her mother, three brothers: W.B. of Palo Alto, California, W.C. of Grand Junction, Colorado, and O.H. at the home place, and two sisters: Mrs. F.J. Harris and Mrs. Harvey Collings, both of Colfax. The funeral announcement will be found in another column.

Funeral Notice
The funeral of the late Miss Alice Knight will take place from the Christian Church in Colfax at 10:30 o’clock Saturday morning, March 23. Rev. George R. Southgate will officiate. Friends may view the remains at the house from 8:30 till 10 o’clock Saturday Morning.
