Mary Margaret "Margie" Miller 81 of Hooversville died Jan. 9, 2012 at home. Born June 5, 1930 in Johnstown daughter of Ralph and Anna B. (Motter) Crouse. Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert C. Miller, and brother Russell Crouse. Survived by these children: Robert C. Jr. married to the former Kathleen Chockla, and Scott C. married to the former Roxanne Ansell, both of Hooversville, Jean married to Larry Ruffner, Latrobe, and Jeffrey C. married to the former Teresa Loht, Newburg; grandchildren: Jennifer Miller, Ashley Macurak, Jeffrey C. Jr., Katlynn, and Jacob Miller, Jessica Kane, and Scott Ruffner; great grandchildren: Eva Marie and Avery Anne Kane, and Scarlett Jeanne Ruffner; and a special friend Trudy Green. Graduate of Latrobe Area High School. Member of Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, Stoyestown Area Historical Society, and Hollsopple Senior Center. She was a volunteer for North Star Youth Outreach, and she enjoyed quilting. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
