KEIZER — Jennifer Schroeder, 21, died Tuesday as a result of an auto accident.

She was born in Worcester, Mass., and lived in Albany, N.Y., and Germantown, Md., before moving to Keizer in 1991. She graduated from McNary High School in 1997. She was a member of the National Honor Society and was a third-year student at Pacific University in the physical therapy program. She worked at the Oregon State Fair, the Boys & Girls Club and for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. She was active in Keizer REACH Club. She enjoyed animals and her dog, which also died in the accident.

Survivors include her parents, Jim and Melissa Schroeder of Keizer; brother, Jason Schroeder of Keizer; sister, Heather Schroeder of Keizer; and grandmother, Selma Matthews of Troy, N.Y.

Visiting will be 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Keizer Funeral Chapel. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church in Keizer, where she was a member. Private interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem.
