Cleo Smith, 48, died at St. Andrew's Hospital on February 28. He had been ill several months. He was formerly employed by the Yellow Cab Co.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Eagles Club.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Smith; sisters, Mrs. Leo Lingle, Mrs. O. H. Crow of San Bernadino, Calif., Mrs. Cecil Acker of Herrin, and Miss Elizabeth Smith of Murphysboro.
