Ralph Clarence Moore was born August 30, 1898 in Murphysboro to Thomas Joseph Moore and Laura Graff Moore. He leaves sisters, Agnes Van Cloostere and Adeline Young, both of Murphysboro. Two brothers preceded him in death.
He married Mary Louise Byrd on August 6, 1935 in Illmo, Missouri. She survives as do children, Marilyn Sue Hood of Murphysboro, Anna Louise Grammer of Mahomet and Frances Jean Johanning of Bethel, Connecticut. Three sons preceded him in death.
Mr. Moore was of the Lutheran faith. He died at the age of 88 in the Jackson County Nursing Home.
