She married Oscar Carl Geilhausen of Centralia on June 30, 1915. He died January 12, 1949. She leaves a daughter, Patricia Louise Brunner of Carbondale. Two sons preceded her in death.
Mrs. Geilhausen retired as head of housekeeping of Doctor's Hospital in Carbondale in 1967 after 16 years of service. She taught private piano lessons in the Carbondale area and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carbondale.
Mrs. Geilhausen died at the age of 86 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
