Wife of Thomas Anderson. Daughter of Harry V. Craigmiles & Nola D. Brant.

Lacy Craigmiles Anderson, eldest daughter of Harry V. and Nola D. Craigmiles, was born in Pleasant Hill, Illinois, March 4, 1900 and passed away at Garfield Park Hospital, Chicago at the age of 35 years. Her early life was spent in Pleasant Hill where her cheery disposition won her a host of lasting friends. She united with the Methodist church of Pleasant Hill under the preaching of Rev. Moorman and while only a mere child taught the little tots in the Sunday school. In her early girlhood she became assistant postmistress in her home town. In 1921 she took a position in St. Louis at the Christian Board of Publication and worked there until the time of her marriage on July 11, 1924 with Thomas O. Anderson, of Chicago. To this union two children were born, Patricia Sue, aged 10 and Michael Thomas, age 3. The loving care of this wonderful mother has started these little ones into the dawn of life just to her own desire and may their early beginning be a guiding light throughout their lives, a last tribute to their mother's memory. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and two babies, her father and mother, a brother and sister and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Anderson was a niece of Alvin Brant of this city.
