Jamie Allen Thompson was born May 26, 1969 in Eagle Butte, South Dakota to Mary L. (Cloud Eagle) and Thomas W. Thompson. He entered the spirit world Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck North Dakota.

Boo Boo was the second oldest in a family of nine, his brothers and sisters are the late Jess Thompson, *Jamie Thompson*, Jacque (Smokey) Thompson-Frost, Dugan (Sheri) Thompson, Janie Thompson, Angel (Jason) Gilbert, Kourtnie Gilbert, Jerri (Casey) Thompson-LaPlante, and JaePaula (Mikey) Condon.

Boo Boo attended school from Head Start to High School in the Cheyenne Eagle Butte School System. He loved to play football and was proud of his accomplishments. He was on the wrestling team all 4 years, placing 4th in Districts and 3rd in Regionals from 1984 to 1987.

Following high school, Jamie entered the Marine Corps in 1989, graduating from basic training at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He served at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, and was discharged in 1992.

He held numerous jobs in our community: working for Land Opps, the Food Pantry, several construction jobs and volunteering at the Elderly Nutrition Center whenever needed. He also helped chef up on the Chuck Wagon rides.

His hobbies included fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends and could grill out like no other. He never went without teasing someone, and will be remembered for that handsome smile.

He has many, many nieces and nephews, and loved every single one of them. They all referred to him as their Uncle "Boo Boo" and was first choice by all to be the babysitter! He has left quite an impression on each of them, as they all have their crazy stories to tell..

Jamie is survived by his children, Zack Thompson, Payton Lawrence and his twins, Julie Ann, and Jamie Allen Jr.; his brother, Dugan; all 6 of his sisters; his father, Tommy (Arlene) Thompson; his aunt, Terry (Jim) Pearman and his uncle, Kenton (Gloria) Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Mary Cloud Eagle Shaving; his mother, Mary "Babe" Cloud Eagle Thompson; uncles, Jimmy & Elmer; aunts, Del and Nancy; his brother, Jesse D Thompson; his grandma, Inez; grandpa, Jerry Thompson and his uncle, Gumbo.

Boo Boo had a special way about him, and was ready to lend a helping hand to any branding, fencing, gathering or any other thing that happened to come up. It's these traits that will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
