MRS. J.W. TAYLOR

Services for Mrs. John W. Taylor, 80, who died at 8:15 a.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maud McCurdy, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church. Rev. W.W. Adcock, pastor, assisted by Dr. B. Wrenn Webb, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, conducted the service. Earnheart directed burial in the City Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

A native of Kentucky, Mrs. Taylor was born Aug. 15, 1861. She came to Texas 50 years ago. She was married to Mr. Taylor Nov. 17, 1877. Mrs. Taylor had been a member of the Methodist Church 66 years.

Her survivors include the husband; four daughters, Mrs. McCurdy and Mrs. Newt Love of Whitewright, Mrs. Bertha Ferguson and Mrs. Eloise Clement of Long Beach, Calif; five sons, Rufus and Elzie Taylor of Whitewright, Roy Taylor of Honey Grove, H.M. Taylor of Greenville and Walter Taylor of Wewoka, Okla.; 44 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
