Mrs. J. W. Miller Is Buried in Cemetery Near Langsville _________Langsville, Nov. 26,1930
Lucina Barton Miller (daughter of Austin and Winnifred (Grate) Barton) born Dec. 18, 1844 died Nov. 20, 1930 after three days illness and she was 86 years old and was united in marriage to John Wilson Miller, July 27, 1862. To them were born 11 children, nine of whom are living, one son and one daughter having preceded the mother in death. Mrs. Miller united with the Methodist Episcopal Church in childhood. She leaves an aged husband, four sons and five daughters, William of Vinton, Lewis of Rio Grande, Ray of Parkersburg, W. Va., Von of Langsville, Mrs. J. B. Piper of Vinton, Alice, Daisy, Ethel and Mabel at home. Twenty-one grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Appeline Colwell, of Rutland and Mrs. Alice Hooper of Huntington, W. Va. The funeral was preached at the residence by Reverend Harry Dye. Music was furnished by the Rutland quartet. Burial was made in the Rutherford Cemetery. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Cloris Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Williams, all of Huntinton, W. Va.; T. W. Wilson and family and Mrs. Mollie Six of Nelsonville, Rev. L. F. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hayes, Cash Atkinson and family, Mrs. Eliza Ward and Miss Mary Ward of Athens.

Lucina Jane Miller , daughter of Austin and Winnifred Barton was born in Rutland township December 18, 1844 and departed this life November 20, 1930 at her homenear Langsville, aged 85 years, 11 months, and 2 days.
She was united in marriage with John Wilson Millr, July 27, 1862. To this union were born 11 children, nine of whom are living, on son and one daughter having passed on several yars ago. She united with the Meothodist church in childhood and lived a cosistent chritian life . She was a loving wife and Mother and held in high esteem by all who knew her.
She leaves to mourn their loss her aged husband , four sons and five daughters, Wm. T. of Vinton; J.Lewis , of Rio Grande; Ray W., of Parkersburg, W.Va.; Von A. , of Langsville; Mrs. J.B. Piper, of Vinton; Alice, Daisy, Ethel and Mabel at home, 21 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, and two sisters; Mrs. Appeline Colwelll, of Rutland ; and Mrs. Alice Hooper, Huntington, WV. and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral was preached at the residence Sunday at 2 P.M. November 23, by Rev. Harry dye of Rutland , assisted by Rev. L.F. Miller of Athens. Interment in the Wright (Rutherford)Cemetery .
