He was born Louis George Cullison to Harry Clifford Cullison (1855 MD-1926 MD) & Barbara Eichhorn (1861 MD-1924 Washington, DC).

His paternal grandparents were George Washington Cullison & Amanda Lewellyn Page.

His maternal grandparents were Dittrick Eichhorn & Mary Ann Schriefer.

Around 1912 he ran away from home, changed his last name to McCullison, married May 12, 1915 to Helen L Saint (1898 IN-1993 IL) in Decatur, IL, had a daughter (Dec 23, 1915 IL-Dec 26, 1915 IL), served in the army during WW I. Divorce of first wife is unknown.

After the war he moved to St. Louis married Louise Labus, had 4 additional children, and lived his final years with his daughter Vera in California where he passed away. He is buried next to his wife Louise and mother-in-law Bell Labus.

His three surviving children loved him very much. He was a very devoted father. He had nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren at the time of his death.
