In 1945 during World War II, Flora joined the US Navy and served as a Seaman First Class.
She resided in Berlin, NH for 20 years where she worked at the Brown Paper Company and started raising a family. She and her family subsequently relocated to Bow, NH in 1967. She was employed in an administrative capacity for the State of New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and subsequently the New Hampshire Supreme Court for 14 years.
She was the mother of Patrice "Patty Lou", Pamela and her siblings were Armand, Arthur, Romeo and Heloise Morin
