SETTLER IN 1885 DIES AT AGE 86
WILBUR, Wash., Dec. 28 – Mrs. Orinda Ann Bankson Woods, 86, died yesterday in the Davis Nursing home, Spokane. As a bride, she and her late husband, Dan Woods, came from Illinois to homestead seven miles south of here in 1885. They were members of the Baptist church and were among the founders of that denomination which built a large church here 45 years ago.
She is survived by five children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The children are; Mrs. Alice Hankel, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Cora Stauffer, Wilbur; Edward Woods, Medical Lake; William Woods, San Francisco and Walter Woods, Colville, Wash.
