Bruce Leon Norton was born July 25, 1931 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Roy and Grace (Stallcup) Norton. He passed away October 15, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Bruce was born and raised in the Kingfisher area. He graduated from Big Four High School. After graduation he married Martha Ann Biggs and then joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. After being discharged from the Army, he and Martha made their home in Oklahoma City. Bruce worked several jobs until his retirement. Bruce enjoyed gambling, fishing, and telling tall tails.

Survivors include, one daughter, Evon Parker and husband Gary of Moore, OK; two brothers, Roger Norton of Midwest City, OK and Darrel Wayne Norton of Kingfisher, OK; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Martha, one son Bruce Norton, Jr., two brothers Marion Norton and Roy Norton, Jr, and by one sister Bernice Riches.

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Hillcrest Christian Church, 1501 SW 59th Street in Oklahoma City.
