Graveside services for Cara Graham Thomas, retired café employee, who died Friday afternoon in the Deaf Smith General Hospital, Hereford, were conducted Monday, August 26, 1974, at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Bill Rushing, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Samnorwood conducted the services at the Shamrock Cemetery with Clay Funeral Home in charge. Born in 1892 to early settlers in Taylor County near Tuscola, Mrs. Thomas came to Shamrock in 1946. She was a Baptist. She is survived by two sons: Frank R. Thomas, Pampa; Post Sergeant Major R.L. Thomas, Jr., Ft Sill, Oklahoma; two daughters: Mrs. Eulafoye Jacobe, Hereford; Mrs. Rachel Barsch, Houston, and seven grandchildren.
