Services for Bettye Lanell Carson Blackburn Hatcher, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Mark United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pastor Danny Niedecken will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Bettye passed away on Saturday, March 02, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born June 12, 1930 in Conehatta, Mississippi to Charles Carson and Nan Williams Carson. Bettye retired from A&B Dairy Supply that she and her husband, Weber Blackburn, co-owned. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and an Eastern Star with the Cleburne Chapter.
Bettye was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Weber Blackburn; one sister; and five brothers.
She is survived by her son, Shelton Blackburn of Cleburne; daughters, Lesli Cox and husband Scott of Cleburne, Amy Hill and husband Steve of Ashville, NC; grandchildren, Timmy Blackburn, Todd Blackburn, Taylor Cox; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Torry, Carson, Christopher, and Haylee Blackburn.
