He was born April 19, 1933, in Shirley, Mass., the son of Chester and Florence Hadley Shaw.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he served from 1953-56.
Prior to retiring, he had been employed in the maintenance department of the Orlando International Airport.
He attended First Lutheran Church, and was a former member of Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion. He was loved by his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Rhodes Shaw, whom he married May 28, 2005, at Tanglewood Manor; six children: Debra, Paul Jr., Kathy, Donna, Joseph and Gregory; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and had three sisters and five brothers.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Shaw, whom he married Nov. 26, 1955, and who died Dec. 26, 1995.
