Pickelman, of the Redeemer Lutheran church conducted services in the funeral chapel of Black, Johnson and Brusie, this afternoon at 1:30 for Mrs. Mary Ann Bean, lifelong resident of Butte County who died at her family home early Saturday morning. Mrs. Fred Byerly sang 'The Valley I Must Walk Through' and 'Beautiful Isle of Somewhere' accompanied by Mrs. Lillian Cook.
There were beautiful floral offerings in profusion around the casket and chapel walls. Interment followed in the family plot of the Chico cemetery."
