Shawna M. Miller, 26, of 836 Brighton Street, Altoona, died suddenly Friday, March 11, 2005, in Eau Claire, town of Washington.

She was born February 1, 1979, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Dennis and Sally (Ducommun) Miller.

She attended Chippewa Falls Senior High School and was a CNA at Syverson Nursing Home in Eau Claire.

She is survived by one daughter, Myeshia Graham at home; her father, Dennis Miller of Chippewa Falls; her mother, Sally (Michael) Pierotti of Chippewa Falls; maternal grandparents, Norman Ducommun of Holcombe and Nancy (Taylor) Garner of Chippewa Falls; paternal grandparents, Darline and Gerald Hallum of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Joe Miller of Menomonie; aunts and uncles, Jerome (Cindy) Ducommun, Steve (Mary) Ducommun, Pam (Jeff) Fredrick, Paul Ducommun, Kim (Ted) Bruhn, Kevin Ducommun, Jolene Schrader, Deb (Rick) Johnson, Dena and Diane Miller, Delloyd (Lisa) Miller, Delores “Dee” Glass and Darven (Lee) Miller; and other relatives and friends; and her special friends, Nicole Ming and Darian Moss.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Douglas Miller; maternal great-grandmother, Bessie Westlund; and paternal great-grandparents, Edward and Hattie Caza.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Brian J. Jazdzewski will be celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14, and until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian vigil service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was a very outgoing person who enjoyed working with elders and children, especially her daughter. She was a very loving and giving person. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
