Martha A. Hill was born Dec. 18, 1913 in Park AR to William Aaron and Mary Janetta (Sims) Beck and passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Cordell Christian Home.

She married Boyd Baughier Nov. 20, 1932 to this union one son, David, was born. Boyd preceded her in death in 1975 and David in 2000.

Martha graduated from nursing school in 1959 and worked at the Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton for nine years. The remainder of her nursing career was spent at the Cordell Memorial Hospital in Cordell.

She married Millard Hill in August 1977 and retired from nursing the same year. After Millard's death in 1986, Martha devoted her time to her church, civic organizations, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; her son; three brothers, Manual, Clarence and Leslie Beck; and four sisters, Clara Stewart, Lona Wheat, Iva Pittman and Ramona Frederick.

Survivors include three grandsons, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Craven of Big Spring TX; and one brother, Lawrence Beck and wife Mary Jo of Hollis OK.
