Obituary-Former Local Girl Succumbs-
Mrs. Harold McCabe, formerly Miss Ann Higgins of Rock Falls, passed away suddenly about 8:30 o'clock Sunday evening at the Illinois Central Hospital in Chicago. She had been ill for a week with complication of disease which partially resulted from injuries sustained in August when she was knocked down by an automobile in the Chicago loop. The body will be brought to the home of her brother, Frank J. Higgins at 300 E. 9th St. Rock Falls this afternoon. Mrs. McCabe was a well known Rock Falls girl, the daughter of Mrs. Frances Higgins. She attended the Rock Falls schools and for several years was employed in the local exchange of the Illinois Bell Telephone Company. After her marriage to Mr. McCabe who was the coach at the Community High School, the couple resided in Sterling. They went to Chicago about 4 years ago. Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. McCabe leaves one sister, Miss Margaret Higgins of Chicago and 3 brothers, Frank J. of Rock Falls, Floyd T. of Chicago and John P. of Cleveland, Oh. and a host of friends who are saddened by her sudden death. Mrs. McCabe was 28 years old.

Funeral-Wed. for Mrs. H. McCabe-
The funeral of the late Mrs. Harold McCabe of Chicago, formerly Miss Ann Higgins of Rock Falls who died suddenly Sunday evening, will be held at 9 o'clock wed morning in St. Mary's Church. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
