Anne Scanlan Healy

Olean, NY-- Anne Scanlan Healy of 116 N. 24th St. died Friday (August 23, 2002) in the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born September 21, 1917 in Colegrove, Pa she was the daughter of Lawrence W. and Bessie W. Heinemann Scanlan. On March 7, 1948 in St. Elizabeth's Church in Smethport, Pa. she married James A. Healy who survives.

Mrs. Healy attended St. Mary of the Angels Church and was a former member of St. Elizabeth Church in Smethport, Pa. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and as one who enjoyed traveling.

Surviving besides her husband are 4 sons James (Colleen) Healy of Boston, Ma., Donald (Pam) Healy of Conway, Arkansas, Francis (Cindy) Healy of Salamanca and Thomas Healy of Jamestown; 2 daughters Mary (Ronnie) Holton of Lewisburg, Tennessee and Leona Seastrum of Frewsburg, NY; 4 grandchildren Jenny Hartline, Joseph Zahn, Darla Healy and Paige Healy; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Mary Backus of Smethport, Pa. and Sister Mary Lawrence Scanlan, OSF of Allegany and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Burial will be in the family mausoleum in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
