She was a daughter of Levi P. and Sarah L. (Twadell) Green. She married Walter O. Simons on Dec. 23, 1911 in Salem, IL. He died Jan. 10, 1963. She then married Bert Allen on Oct. 15, 1966. He died July 27, 1975.
Surviving are a son: Howard Simons of Streator; daughters: Marie (Donley) Martin of Elkhorn, WI and Sally St. Clair of Sarasota, FL; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister: Sally Kampan of Madison, WI; and brothers: L. C. Green of Spring, TX and Hubert Green of Fairfield, IL.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jack.
