Christian Schick / Sheek was the son of Valentine "Max. Valindin/Vallandin" and Catharina Schick.

** On 10 Sep 1753, he arrived in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA aboard the Ship "Beulah" from Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Christian married Martha Catherina Rosina abt 1755 in Northampton Co., PA.

He died in the Heidelberg Settlement in Rowan (now Davie) Co., NC.

Christian was buried at Heidelberg Evangelical Lutheran (Old Dutch Meetinghouse) Church Cemetery.

NOTE: There is a discrepancy as to when Christian actually arrived in America, and the 10 Sep 1753 date noted above may be incorrect. Other researchers have noted the following:

"Christian had a warrant for 75 acres of land in Maxatawny Township (Berks County, Pennsylvania) on 2 Jan 1753. Part of the land (34 1/2 acres) was surveyed in 1811 for Henry Ludwig in Longswamp Township. Another 35.8 acres was surveyed in 1828 for Henry Meitler in Longswamp Township."
