Jimmy D. Norris, 56, of Oak View, died Monday, June 23, 2003. He was born Feb. 5, 1947 in Merced, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. Norris, of Oak View; daughter Lynndee S. Norris of Oak View; son Jimmy L. Norris of Casitas Springs; mother Fern Norris of Casitas Springs; brothers Jerry N. Norris of Grass Valley, Calif., and Jeff S. Norris of Woodenville, Wash.
The family is holding a gathering today at 11 a.m. at the Padre Serra Cross in Ventura, where Mr. Norris spent time flying his remote control airplanes.
