He married Hilma Oberman, September 24, 1929, who survives. Also surviving are three brothers, Arch and Elvin Rowe of Montrose, Iowa, and John Rowe of Joplin, Missouri, two sisters, Martha Mason and Lula Suter of Kahoka, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two sisters, Annie Maples and Cletra Nichols, two brothers, Claude and Roy Rowe, two half sisters, Lilly Moreland and Nellie Thompson and one half brother, Ed Rowe.
He was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church.
Services were conducted by the Gerth and Baskett Funeral Home at the First Baptist Church in Wyaconda, Missouri. The Rev. Dean Collings officiated. Burial was in the New Woodville Cemetery. Pall Bearers were Aubrey Suter, Lloyd Howell, Carl Vice, George Everman, Harold Bertram, Jim Robertson, Bill Alderton, and Bill Robertson. Music was by Barbara Anderson and Joe Hudson sang.
