DEATH OF AN ESTIMABLE LADY - It is with feelings of profound regret we make the announcement of the death of Mrs. S. Ella Snyder, daughter of Hon. A. G. Miller, and wife of Henry Lee Snyder, of the U.S. Navy, at her father's residence, in this place, on Friday noon last week. The death of this estimable lady occurs under circumstances of the most mournful character. Her husband, an official in high position in the Navy, is now at sea, and many days must elapse before these sad tidings reach him. She also leaves two small children, one a babe but a few days old. On Monday morning her remains were placed in Spring Hill Cemetery, attended by a large and sorrowing concourse of relatives and friends. Mrs. Snyder was an affectionate daughter and wife, and the remembrance of her amiable and kindly disposition and engaging manners will long dwell in the memories of those sho were so fortunate as to come within the pale of her acquaintance.
