Mrs. Martha A. Brown, 86 years old, widow of William H. Brown, former City Councilman from the Twenty-first ward and captain of the old Western Police district, died at her residence, 1715 West Lombard street, about 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning. Her death was due to infirmities of age.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emma R. Webb, with whom she made her home: one son, William E. Brown, 3710 Chestnut road, Walbrook: nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning from her residence. Services will be conducted at 10:30 at the Holy Cross Protestant Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Loudon Prk Cemetey.
