Archie David Milligan, Sr., 62, of West Memphis, Ark., died August 22, 2006 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was the son of the late E.A. "Red" Milligan and Laura Milligan. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Milligan.
A native of Steele, he graduated from Steele High School before attending Arkansas State University and Boston College and joining the United States Army. Honorably discharged from the Army, he recently retired from a long career in the trucking industry as a terminal manager.
He was an avid golfer and loved cooking.
Mr. Milligan leaves his wife of twenty years, Barbara Milligan, of the home; three children: Kelley Milligan of Memphis, Archie Milligan, Jr., and Heath Finch, both of West Memphis and two cousins: Maybelle Green and Judy Teeter, both of Steele.
Memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2006 at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Memphis.
Burial was at the Crittenden Memorial Park with Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in charge of services.
