Ellen Patricia Pierce, age 48, of Mission Viejo, California and formerly of Canton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Ellen was born July 21, 1964 in Beverly, Massachusetts to George and Patricia Pierce.

She was the youngest of three children and is survived by a son in Tacoma, Washington; two sisters, one of Watkinsville, Georgia and the other in Canton, Ohio; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

She was devoted to family and friends, and her positive outlook and youthful enthusiasm were an inspiration to all. Ellen graduated from Glen Oak High School in Canton, Ohio and received a bachelor degree in communications from Cal State Fullerton.

She was a fundraising and development administrator at St Margaret's Episcopal School and srved as a guardian ad litem for CASA of Orange County, as well as enjoying scriptwriting, horseback riding and being with friends and family.

Visitation begins at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 2nd at Fairhaven Memorial Services in Mission Viejo, with services following at 4:30pm.

Burial will be at 1:00pm on Sunday at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest.
