Born Oct 1, 1946 in New Brighton, she was a loyal and devoted daughter of Virginia (Shaffer) D'Antonio, who was her best friend.
Cheryl was a dedicated employee of the meat department of Shop N Save in Ambridge, where she earned the nickname "Sarge". She loved her job and genuinely cared for and respected her co-workers.
She was a graduate of Aliquippa High School and enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and was an avid Steeler's fan. Cheryl was kind and generous and was deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
Surviving are her siblings, Marlane (Walter) Bartosh of Economy, Kenneth (Mary) D'Antonio, and Deborah Potts, all of Aliquippa. Her nieces and nephews, whom she adored, Sherry (John) Freed, Ronnie Bartosh, Keith D'Antonio, Kenny D'Antonio, Jr., Nicole D'Antonio Vallecorsa and Molly D'Antonio; her beloved great nieces and nephews, Brittany Freed, Courtney, Jocelyn, Jacob and Julia Bartosh, Angelina Vallecorsa, Alyssa D'Antonio Joey Koller, and Anthony D'Antonio who is her godson. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother in law Henry Potts, Sr.
Friends will be received Monday from 3-7:30pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St. Aliquippa, where a service will be held Tuesday at 11am, with Rev. Edward Heist, officiating. Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park-Rochester.
